This is a lovely big Californian Cabernet. Black fruits – cassis, dark plums, Boysenberry, mocha, baking spices, vanilla, hints of tobacco. Serious but approachable – with a soft and rounded mid palate but enough acidity and fine grained tannin structure to balance the wine.
