Our Services
Tasting Events
We run themed tasting events in the shop every couple of months. They are relaxed and informal, whilst educating you a little bit about the fabulous wines you will try. It’s a great way to try some new wines and start to figure out what it is you like/don’t like about a wine. Of course, we hope you like them all! We offer a few nibbles to sample alongside the wines and a discount for wines purchased on the night. You can book your tickets on-line or drop into the shop.
Private Tastings
We can tailor tastings for groups, whether it is to celebrate an occasion, or simply to get a few wine enthusiasts together! These can be hosted in the shop or we can come to your home. We can work with varying budgets and themes, so you get exactly what you want. To give you some ideas of past events we have run for customers:
- Old world vs New World, where we try wines of the same grape variety but from completely different parts of the world
- Blind tasting of two wines at different price points to see which one is preferred

Wedding/Parties
When hosting a special event, we know that you want your choices of wines to really stand out. We provide a very personal service and importantly to suit most budgets. You don’t need to spend a fortune to provide some fabulous wines at your event. Our service includes:
- an initial meeting to discuss your event and what foods you are serving and what budget you wish to work to
- we will provide you with some options to consider before you make a decision
- we will arrange delivery of the wines to the venue free of charge (within a 20 miles radius of Crowborough)
- Sale or return of any unused cases, so you have flexibility over the amount you may need
- We can also supply local beers (including Harvey’s of Lewes polypins- 36 pints) and some spirits
Wine Sourcing service
Whether you are trying to build up your cellar or looking for something specific for a gift or special occasion we can certainly help you. We work with a number of wholesalers who have an extensive range of wines. We can normally find most things, or at least be able to recommend a suitable alternative. Please note that this service can be subject to a minimum order value.
Wine Club
We have been running our wine club since we opened the shop back in 2019. Our wine club is a very simple model, with one clear promise and that is to hand pick your case for you based on your preferences and budget. None of this random selection of wines, of which you end up perhaps enjoying just a few. The annual membership is £50 and for that you will receive the following:
- 5% discount on any wines you buy throughout the year (with the exception of your regular case where 10% applies)
- We will hand pick your case (12 bottles) and provide free delivery within the local area. You can choose your price point: £140, £160, £180 or £200
- Your case is put together every 2 months and we contact you ahead of time to agree the mix of wines you want. You are committed to a minimum of 4 cases per year, so you can skip a couple if needs be
- You will get first refusal to any limited edition wines we get in
- You are entitled to 2 free tickets (each year) to one of our tasting events
