The lieu-dit of Vau-Ligneau is one of Chablis' more recent promotees to Premier Crus status, elevated for consistently producing superior quality wines. Light butterscotch and peaches on the nose. Tangerine, sweet citrus and really mineral and toast flavours on the palate, plenty of fresh acidity. Long lingering finish. The bolder producers style deftly added to the more restrained style of Vau-Lignau creates a textural, elegant white.
