The Kerner variety is a cross between Schiava and Riesling, created in Weinsberg (Germany) in 1929. It's named in honour of the poet and physician Justinus Kerner. Fresh, intense, spiced and aromatic, this wine delivers Stone fruit flavours of peach and apricot. It is beautifully expressive, well balanced acidity with great length. Try pairing this wine with shellfish, cold meats or mushroom risotto.
