The palate provides this same intense sensation of delicious ripe fruit and smoothness, with black fruit notes of blackberry and blackcurrant. The tannins are perfectly soft and harmonious. This wine is characterised both by the roundness of Merlot and the power of Cabernet ripened under the final few rays of the Indian summer sun. Slightly minty aromas of forest floor follow through to the long finish. All in all, an elegant, well-balanced wine combining freshness and power.
